Chicago Travel and Tourism

The city is located mostly in Cook County, although part of the city's O'Hare International Airport overlaps into DuPage County.  Chicago is the largest city in the Midwest, and has developed into a major center of commerce.  Because of its central North American location, Chicago is an important transportation hub as well.  Several tall buildings are located here, such as the Sears Tower and the Hancock Center.  The city boasts a diverse culture, several professional sports teams, and Magnificent Mile shopping.  The Chicago map on this page shows the central district where most of the significant tourist destinations are located.
